It all started across time zones and thousands of miles apart. I was in Indonesia, and he was in the United States — two hearts beating on opposite sides of the world, yet somehow destined to find each other.
What brought us together was a little unexpected but perfectly us: a shared love for cheesy food and deep, logical conversations. From playful debates to talking about life’s big questions, we discovered how naturally we connected — laughing one moment, discussing something profound the next.
One of the most beautiful parts of our journey has been our shared interest in faith. He has a deep love for Islamic lectures, and that became something we cherished together. Almost every week, no matter how far apart we were, we found time to sit together — virtually — and learn about Islam, reflect on its teachings, and grow in our spiritual journey side by side.
Even with time differences, we never ran out of things to talk about. Our bond grew through patience, sincerity, and the joy of learning together — not just about each other, but about the values we want to build our life upon.
Now, we are stepping into a new chapter — not just as husband and wife, but as best friends and learning partners. With God’s blessing and the support of our families, we begin our life hand in hand — full of laughter, love, shared meals, deep talks, and endless faith.
This isn’t just a wedding. It’s the beginning of a lifelong story that we’re writing together — with every bite of cheesy food, every new thing we learn, and every prayer we share.
